Well hello! I’m Emma - your guide on this course…

…that I developed to help women shift self-limiting beliefs (we all have them). To redefine self-confidence and live a life they love.

Yes. It is possible.

Especially during the phase of life where we realise our energy has been focused on everyone and everything else but what we truly want.

I specialise in supporting 40-something women to embrace who they are, release uncertainties and move through challenges with a renewed sense of confidence in their unique abilities. 

We are often misunderstood and just want to feel recognised, like we belong and no longer need to pretend to be someone we just don’t want to be.

This was the support I wish I’d had years ago - and I’m honoured to share what I’ve learnt with you.

Most women (like me) might ‘know’ how to take care of themselves but struggle to do it in such a busy, non-stop life where expectations are HIGH every - single - day. In the 30 years I’ve been exploring this space…I’ve learnt how to bridge the gap between your busy life and self-care

It can co-exist, and when it does, it completely transforms your life in ways you may have thought impossible.

True well-being starts and ends with doing what’s right for you - your body, your mind, your spirit, your soul.

I have always been a seeker - searching for meaning - even as a young child.

I was 13 when my Dad died. I didn’t know how to grieve or process the trauma of experiencing such loss. It seemed that after a while I was expected to be ok (and I wondered why I wasn’t).

I now understand that my nervous system was dysregulated. Meaning that I felt unsafe wherever I was and whatever I was doing. I developed strategies to deal with life (side note: they weren’t helpful long-term, in fact, they were truly harmful, but I’m a stubborn person so I just carried on..lalalala).

After a traumatic breakup, I was suddenly a young single parent, I felt ashamed and lost. My life didn’t belong to me. 

I’d lie awake at night with anxious thoughts. It seemed all I did was make poor decisions that didn’t reflect who I was. I relied on methods of detachment that just increased feelings of sadness and shame.

I felt trapped and stuck and lost. Can you relate to that?

I’ve learnt that this is a shared experience - the feeling of being lost is way too common.

Creating a health-focused business, supporting the needs of my clients and being the best mum I could be, I had little time to pause and see what I needed. I simply didn’t feel worthy or know how to transform deeply held trauma. Life just kept on piling more crap on top of itself.

I’d feel crushed by others' opinions. I didn’t have the confidence to make decisions that were good for me - I was always seeking approval.

I eventually became unwell (shocker!). Experiencing insomnia, pain and spasms in my body, migraine, depression and anxiety. I tried to ‘stay positive’ like the books, society and people around me said I should. Trying to do that was exhausting and I felt I was failing every single day.

I decided to broaden my life, chose to leave the clinic and began to work for a medical sales company. I learnt a lot about myself, business and leadership, eventually running the sales training and development for Europe, Canada, Lat-Am and Asia-Pac. I met and worked with many wonderful, inspiring people. Who also shared how their lives felt under constant pressure.

At this time I was in the middle of an ongoing reproductive health issue. One surgery helped stop a six-month bleed and haemorrhage (yes, you read that right - I had a 6-month long period and then haemorrhaged, but was “too busy” to do anything about it! As well as being in denial). But eventually, after working with various Western, Holistic and Ayurvedic Doctors I physically had no choice but to undergo an abdominal hysterectomy. Healing is never linear and I knew…

Something else was calling me

I returned to my passion for Holistic Wellness - guided through the teachings of Kinesiology (the language of the body), Reflexology, Astrology, Modern Psychology and the ancient paths of Mindfulness, Meditation, Yoga and Yoga Nidra. I blended this with two PG Dips in Clinical Education and Clinical Leadership with Trauma-informed brain-body health

I started to peel back the layers of protection built up over the years. I asked for help (not easy!!) and learnt how to safely feel the pain of past experiences. To physically and emotionally process them. To honour them with compassion.

I discovered that I had all the answers I needed. That I could trust myself. That shame and loss could be integrated and transformed. That I could be fully me. And so can you…

Exploring my inner knowing through various Earth-based practises from the Yogic, Buddhist, Gnostic, Celtic, Pagan and other world traditions has re-connected me to the sacredness of life.

Now I manage my energy and have clear boundaries. I make decisions that feel good to me. I live life my way. And you can too!

When you’re exploring new things, perhaps something that may raise uncomfortable or painful moments - as well as glorious, exciting “yes!” moments, it’s important to be with the right teacher for you.

I love to bring a little humour into each session - why? Because I just can’t help myself, and because it gives permission to the body to let go - for the mind to work in different ways and for hard topics to be approached with a sensitivity underlined with a spark of possibility and joy.

FAQs

What do I need to do for the course?

When you join The Path to Purpose you’ll immediately get access to the online membership area. Here you’ll find some bonus sessions and a recording of session 1 (some women like to prepare beforehand - if that’s not you just ignore it!)

We meet live every Wednesday that the course runs - with a couple of weeks “off” for integration. In these weeks you’ll have access to other bonus sessions that support the process you’ll be experiencing.

What happens if I can’t come live one week?

That’s ok - life happens! Each session is recorded. You’ll have access to it in the membership area.

What do I do in between sessions?

There is a guidebook to accompany the course along with other helpful resources. Everything is covered in the live sessions and you can always email me if you’re not sure.

What’s the investment?

It’s £749 for the whole programme. There are payment plans available and I invite you to discuss with me if there is financial hardship but you’d be interested in taking part
